We have created a monster. It collects every bit of information about what you do when browsing Internet. It knows what your interests are. It knows your hobbies. It knows when you go to sleep. It knows what movies you like. It knows what music you like. It has access to all of your email communication and attachments and contacts. It knows what you download. Well, it probably knows more about you then your wife / husband / girlfriend / boyfriend does. It knows everything about you.
You can get a glimpse of what it knows about you here.
Would you use it’s services if it were owned and controlled by government? Did not think so. Would you expose your most private information to your government? You are doing it already.
Government already has access to that information. All it has to do is ask for it. You’ve already agreed with it.
But hey, governments routinely spy on their citizens, so it’s not a big deal.
They will spy on you even more and more and more. And they will punish you if you do bad things. France is doing it already.
So what’s next? Every little thing you do online will be logged and safeguarded for someone to analyse it (if needed). I expect something like this with some more of it as time goes by.
So when terrorists hit again, expect some more new and hardened laws and regulations. Expect less privacy. Expect no privacy at all.
So there you go. Watch what you’re doing online. Sooner or later it could be used against you.
What does Obama use Google for? What does he search for? I don’t know. Google does.
